How to Use a Steam Cleaner to Deep Clean Your Upholstery
To clean upholstery with a steam cleaner, begin by vacuuming the furniture to remove any loose dirt or debris. Next, fill the steam cleaner with water and turn it on to heat up. Once it’s hot, choose a small area of the upholstery to start cleaning and aim the steamer at the fabric, holding it a few inches away. Move the nozzle in a back-and-forth motion to distribute the steam evenly. Once the area is clean, move on to the next section and continue until all of the furniture is clean. Allow it to air dry completely before using.
