Mastering the Process: How to Recover R134a with a Vacuum Pump
To recover R134A with a vacuum pump, first, connect the pump to the refrigerant system and turn it on. The vacuum pump will remove any excess moisture and non-condensable gases from the system. After the vacuum is complete and stable, slowly open the service valve to let the refrigerant flow through the pump and into the recovery cylinder. Once the recovery cylinder is at the desired level, close the service valve and turn off the vacuum pump. Then, dispose of the recovered refrigerant according to local regulations.
