How to Freeze Green Beans with Vacuum Sealer for Long-Term Storage
To freeze green beans with a vacuum sealer, start by washing and trimming the ends off the beans. Blanch them by boiling for 3 minutes and then cooling them in ice water. After they are cooled, lay them out on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours. Once frozen, place the beans in vacuum sealed bags and use the sealer to remove all the air. Label and store in the freezer for up to a year.
